I thought I would continue our spring cleaning theme by highlighting some of the great uses for Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV).  Apple Cider Vinegar is a potent antimicrobial that makes a fantastic, non-toxic household cleaner. Vinegar contains ascetic acid which allows it to cut through and remove stubborn grease and build-up with ease. Below are some of my favorite spring cleaning uses for Apple Cider Vinegar:

All Purpose Cleaner – Make an ACV & Purification Essential Oil (where to buy) All-Purpose Cleaner.

Clean Dishwasher: Add 1 c. ACV to bottom of empty dishwasher and run.

Unclog Drains: Add ½ cup baking soda and ½ cup salt to drain. Follow with ½ cup ACV. Allow to sit for three hours then flush drain.

Window Cleaner: Mix 1:1 ratio of water and ACV.

Soap Scum: Spray with ACV, allow to sit for 10 minutes, and rinse.

Fabric Softener: Add ½ cup ACV to wash and toss those dryer sheets.

Besides being a fantastic cleaner, Apple Cider Vinegar has numerous health benefits. Discover more great uses for Apple Cider Vinegar by visiting these posts from All You and Food Matters. Happy cleaning!
